Self Defence lesson by Jim Nayyar
On Wednesday 21st February Jim and his team, (a black belt 3rd Dan in Jujitsu) gave us 2 hours of their time to show CMS members tips on how to defend ourselves against any assault. Our lesson showed that with the use of Jujitsu a practitioner can turn their opponent’s strength against themselves.
A reminder of the basic techniques learnt
Jim took up Jujitsu at the age of 50 following on from an assault at East Croydon Station. After learning Jujitsu, he went on to provide Jujitsu instruction to a wide range of people, including children bullied at school and older people.
