Croydon Medical Society Events
The Society’s annual programme includes three lectures, AGM and an annual dinner. The Society also confers an annual Lifetime Achievement Award.
A Program of events for 2026
Friday 5th June
Annual Dinner
Venue: Coombe Wood House (previously called Chateau Napoleon) in Coombe Lane, Croydon – it is a delightful venue. The maximum number for which they can cater is 60.
Time: 7-11 pm
Cost: The cost per person is £55, and this includes a glass of prosecco or sparkling elderflower on arrival, a 3-course meal (plus coffee and mints) and a pianist who will play gentle music throughout the evening. Drinks can be purchased at your table.

Sunday 7th June
President’s Charity Sponsored Walk
To support: Lives not Knives, target £1,000
Choose your route :
- 5 miles gentle stroll, Woldingham to Oxted, return to Woldingham by train
- 10 miles classic walk, Woldingham to Oxted, return via Chalk Pits & Titsey Estate
- 15 miles extra worthy! All of the above, plus an extra 5-mile loop!
Starts at: 9.30 am, meet at Woldingham Station
Dogs on leads are welcome, with midway refreshments at The Old Bell, Oxted. From here, carry on or hop on the train back to Woldingham — entirely up to you!
